Virginia Department of Social Services - Neighborhood Assistance Program This affiliation allows businesses who pay taxes in the State of Virginia to receive a 40% tax CREDIT for a contribution of cash, equipment or staff time valued between $1000.00 and $437,500.00 and individuals or married couples who pay taxes in the State of Virginia to recieve a 40% tax credit for cash contributions valued between 500.00 and $50,000.00.
